The new generations changing companies
The way companies work is changing rapidly. New technologies, hybrid models, and evolving expectations from people are redefining organizations, workspaces, and skills.
For this reason, on April 9 we were present at the Politecnico di Milano as a sponsor of the Work Evolution event. It was an opportunity to discuss topics that are already impacting companies today:
- the evolution of organizational models
- the integration of artificial intelligence into business processes
- people’s wellbeing and development
- new balances between in-office work, remote work, and flexibility
Why this topic also matters for your company
The 2026–2028 Strategic Plan of the Politecnico di Milano highlights a key point:
organizations grow when they invest in skills, work environments, and the quality of people’s experience.
Continuous learning, the conscious adoption of AI, attention to wellbeing, and more flexible work models are already operational levers, no longer experiments. More and more companies are addressing this transition by focusing on three main directions:
- developing new and transversal skills
- creating work environments that can adapt to teams
- adopting more dynamic organizational models.
Our role in this context
At NOTONLYDESK, we work every day to support companies and professionals in building more flexible, accessible, and sustainable ways of working. Being present at Work Evolution meant contributing to a conversation about how workspaces are evolving and how they can support organizational change.
Engaging with institutions such as the Politecnico di Milano allows us to bring ideas, models, and solutions into practice that respond to real needs. If your company is also addressing these topics, this is the right time to start rethinking them in a more structured way.
Let’s talk about it together
If you want to understand how to evolve work models, workspaces, and organization more effectively, discussing with those who are already working on these topics can make a real difference.
